About Parade College
Welcome to Parade College, a renowned establishment and point of interest located in Bundoora, Australia. Situated at 1436 Plenty Road, our school is dedicated to nurturing the community in the Edmund Rice tradition. We strive to foster growth in knowledge, engagement, and understanding of the Catholic faith among our students, staff, and families.
At Parade College, we believe in providing a dynamic education that empowers our students to become independent and confident individuals. We are committed to helping them pursue excellence in their learning, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future endeavors.
Our primary goal is to develop considerate and compassionate young men who value right relationships and are socially aware. We aim to instill in them a sense of responsibility towards their local and global communities, encouraging them to make significant contributions wherever they go.
As a professional learning community, we are characterized by a shared vision and a strong commitment to teamwork. We continuously strive for the improvement of boys' learning, creating an environment that supports their holistic development.
To achieve this, we actively engage with families, parishes, and local and global communities, deepening relationships and embedding holistic learning. We believe that collaboration with these stakeholders is essential for the overall growth and success of our students.
Parade College is proud to be a member of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA), a national body of Catholic schools. Like other EREA schools, we draw inspiration from Br Edmund Rice, the founder of the Christian Brothers. The values of the College are enshrined in the Charter for Edmund Rice Schools and our College Mission Statement.
In addition, we offer the Altior program, specially designed for highly able students in Years 7 to 9. This program provides enrichment and extension in English, Mathematics, Humanities, and Science, allowing these students to further excel in their areas of interest.
We also acknowledge and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, and work. As a community, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care.
At Parade College, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and strong moral values. We invite you to join our community and embark on an enriching educational journey with us.

Reviews of Parade College
"Reading some of the things people stay is fake because I go to this school and I can stay it's a really good school"
"Reading some of these Reviews they look fake? Disgruntled kids? My boys go to this school and I think the school is great, good culture, good mix of values and religion. I have no hesitation in recommending Parade Collage Bundoora."
"I graduated a few years ago and often find myself reflecting on my experience and how it has affected me throughout the years. Males should not be sent to all male schools - the mix of gender provides for the crucial balance in a social dynamic. This can't be experienced at an all male school and attributes to the inherently sexist culture of this school along with untamed toxic masculinity running throughout the internal culture of students. Please think thoroughly before sending your boy here... Its been a long process having to unlearn and detach from learnt behaviour which is so infectious."
"from someone who has dated a parade boy, these creatures are a different breed, most of what they say is air raids and to be honest the boys at the school aren't hot enough to be actin the way they act. the few that are decent to look at hit my line."
"Bullying and lack of due care at Parade College has existed for years. The leadership group at Parade College (both campuses) over numerous years have not provided the required duty of care nor competency to deal with bulling incidents and believe they are not accountable nor answerable. The incidents are surrounded in secrecy and the leadership group provide little to no information or are only interested in their own self worth and 'power trips" and do not place the students' needs above their own. Don't bother complaining because they believe they are always right and parents are answerable to the school and not the other way around. However complaining to the Department of Education is useless because they advise they have no authority over Catholic (what a contradictory term as the word catholic is not being truly represented here by the school's attitude) schools and the Catholic Office of Education will protect the school and provide no evidence on their findings of (supposedly) no bullying mismanagement other than the school was perfect and there is no room for improvement. How can this even be credible if they determine a school is perfect? A current case of bullying is with the Supreme Court (reported by the ABC and The Age in May 2022) because the victim is the one expelled as his parents were frustrated with the lack of results by the leadership group at Parade College Preston (rightly so) and voiced their dissatisfaction which was unacceptable by Parade College. Yet the suspected bully is still at the school and any attempts to provide other supporting evidence to the ABC and to the victim's solicitors (Legal Matrix) is ignored by both the ABC and the solicitors. At Parade College, the attitude is that parents answer to the school at all times but the school does not answer to the parents at anytime. Perhaps if a class action of bullying and negligence in their duty of care against the school was taken, then Parade College and their attitudes would be forced to change and this would send a similar message to other offending catholic schools who also believe they are 'untouchable'."
