Welcome to Surrey Park Swimming - Box Hill! Located at 31 Surrey Drive in Box Hill, our institution is one of the oldest swimming clubs in Australia, established in 1904. As an establishment focused on health and a point of interest in the community, we also function as a school, providing top-notch swim lessons and programs for all ages.

At Surrey Park, we believe that correct stroke technique is important, but we also understand that children learn best in a nurturing and engaging environment. That's why we strive to create a fun and supportive atmosphere for our students. With low student ratios, qualified swim instructors, and a commitment to continual training, we are dedicated to helping every swimmer reach their full potential.

We offer two convenient locations in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. At our Blackburn Learn to Swim Centre, you can experience the difference of learning to swim in mineral-based saltwater. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with skin conditions or those looking to reduce their exposure to chemicals. Alternatively, you can visit Aqualink Box Hill, where you can enjoy free access to aquatic play spaces on the day of your lesson.

But our commitment to the community doesn't stop there. Through our CAPS program, we donate money from every lesson to provide swimming lessons to newly arrived migrants, students with disabilities, and financially disadvantaged families. We also offer free talks on water safety to kindergartens and schools, spreading awareness about the importance of staying safe in the water.

Our Learn to Swim program seamlessly transitions into our Club Squad program, led by our Head Coach Justin Bell. Whether you're a beginner or a high-performance swimmer, our Club Squad caters to swimmers of all levels and abilities.

For our youngest swimmers, we have specially trained infant teachers who focus on water familiarization and building confidence through songs and repetition. As your child progresses through our progressive learn to swim program, they will not only learn how to swim but also gain essential water safety skills that will last a lifetime.

We understand the importance of peer interaction, which is why we offer teen grouped classes. This allows your child to learn to swim alongside children their own age, fostering friendships and a sense of camaraderie.

Age is no barrier to learning to swim at Surrey Park. Whether you're 18 or 70, our programs cater to individuals of all ages who are eager to learn or refine their stroke technique. We also offer capped classes or private lessons for children with special needs, ensuring that everyone can participate and thrive in our swimming programs.

In addition to our swimming programs, we also offer an introductory dive program, where we introduce your child to exciting skills such as dives, twists, tucks, and somersaults. This is a fantastic way to spark their interest in the sport of diving.

If you're looking for a more intensive swimming experience, our swim and dive programs are perfect for you. These programs allow your child to fast-track their progress or accommodate busy schedules that may not allow for regular lessons during the term.

At Surrey Park Swimming - Box Hill, we understand the importance of convenience. That's why we have flexible operating hours at both our locations. Aqualink Box Hill is open on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. For our Box Hill South/Blackburn location, we are open on weekdays from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. Aqualink at Box Hill operates on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
