Welcome to the Swinburne University of Technology Multi Faith Centre, located at 34 Wakefield Street in Hawthorn, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our institution offers a peaceful and welcoming space for prayer, meditation, and quiet contemplation. Whether you are seeking spiritual care or simply a conversation, our dedicated team of Chaplains is here to support you.

At the Multi Faith Centre, we host a variety of faith and cultural club events, as well as activities focused on spiritual wellbeing, such as mindfulness and yoga. Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together and find solace.

If you are in need of a quiet place, we invite you to drop in anytime and explore our tranquil surroundings. You can also take advantage of our self-guided meditation in GS303, where you can embark on a journey of inner reflection and relaxation.

For the convenience of our students, staff, and their immediate families, the Multi Faith Centre is open seven days a week from 5am to 11pm. Our location on Level 3 of the George Swinburne Building offers easy lift access, ensuring accessibility for everyone.

We are proud to have a team of Chaplains who are dedicated to providing spiritual care and support. Bagoes is available to all students and is particularly knowledgeable in assisting international and migrant students. Fluent in Indonesian, he occasionally visits both the Hawthorn and Wantirna campuses. Rashid, on the other hand, serves as a chaplain for Muslim students and occasionally visits the Hawthorn campus. Both are available by appointment.
