Dr. Kim, our esteemed dentist, understands that a visit to the dentist is not something most people look forward to. With his jovial and kind nature, Dr. Kim takes the time to understand each patient's concerns and provides a tailored treatment plan. Originally from New York City, Dr. Kim completed his undergraduate studies at New York University and the State University of New York at Stonybrook. His dental training at the University of Sydney was a transformative experience, leading him to fall in love with Australia. Dr. Kim has since worked in various areas of Australia, enjoying the surf, beaches, and sunshine of Newcastle, as well as the culture and mountain biking of Canberra. Potts Point, with its similarities to his neighborhood in the East Village of New York City, became his chosen location for establishing our dental surgery.

Dr. Kim strongly believes in continuing education and regularly travels around Australia, the U.S., and abroad to stay up-to-date with the latest dental technology and treatments. He has particular interests in porcelain/ceramic restorations and dental implantology, as they relate to creating beautiful smiles. When Dr. Kim is not at work, he can be found on his mountain bike or working on his golf game.

Dr. Tabucanon, another valued member of our team, takes pride in her dentistry and ensures that her patients are at ease. With her caring and approachable nature, she is comfortable treating a diverse range of patients. Dr. Tabucanon grew up in Sydney, attending Loreto Normanhurst before completing her tertiary studies at the University of Sydney. Her passion for the sciences led her to earn a Bachelor of Medical Science Degree with Honours in Pharmacology/Oncology. She then pursued her postgraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2007, receiving the Brigadier Gordan Rowell Prize for proficiency in Preventative Dentistry. Dr. Tabucanon has worked in practices on the Central Coast, Lane Cove, and Berowra, and is now excited to bring her expertise to Potts Point. She continues to attend continuing education courses to further her training and provide modern dentistry to her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Tabucanon enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her adorable teacup poodle, Polly.

Inspired by the resemblance to his neighborhood in New York City, Dr. Kim established Potts Point Dental to create a home away from home for his patients. Our newly established dental surgery is equipped with modern equipment and technology to ensure both effective dental procedures and patient comfort.
