"If you are disabled please don't order anything from Amart. Their 3rd party courier service delivers to the door and just leave, he would'nt even carry the item through the door. Apparently it's a policy for them not to enter the house. Even Australia post assists with at least putting the items in the house without having to step in. Totally not acceptable for a company in this day and age not to advocate for disability."

"Purchased 2 leather sofas, Aristotle - Signature Collection for a total of just under $8,500.00 from the Braybrook store just under 2 years ago. Earlier this year we notice the colour flaking off the headrest on one of the sofas so we contacted the so called warranty team. Only to be told it was due to body oils and sweat, funny how they know only to attack this one section of the sofa, we do sit on other parts of the sofa!!! The under qualified repair guy came out and said he will repaint the leather, although I wasn’t keen or confident that this would help I agreed. Two weeks later, the repaired painted section peeled away again, must not have been sweat and body oil resistant paint. I called them again only to be told I need to put in a new claim. The same repair guy came and said he wanted to paint it again, I told him I wanted the head test replaced because obviously the painting didn’t work. He took more photos and went back to right a report. We received an email from Amart to say, they have decided it is ‘normal wear and tear’ and not a product fault, even though they tried to repair it once, and the claim has been declined and unable to proceed with this matter! I gave this a one star only because there is no option to give a minus. I will now be taking this matter further and contacting the ACCC as these muppets are taking people for a ride. Do yourself a favour and don’t shop at Amart, poor quality furniture and even worse customer service. I wouldn’t take their furniture if it was free!!!"

"We bought a new leather couch for $6400 and started peeling after 20 months we had a 12 year warrantee and paid for a letter protection plan for 5 years at $169 Extra . And still they say not covered under warrantee they saint a repair man who said he doesn’t know how he will be able to fix this and then say it’s from a chemical reaction from our hair or medication we take and not covered . Not happy at all and no help from A-mart there warrantee is not worth the paper it’s written on will never buy anything from them again"

"Spent over $2500 and $200+ for extended 5 year warranty on a lounge and it is basically scrap after 2 years. Noticed bad pilling in the material almost immediately after purchase but we chose not to make a big deal of it. The material then degraded rapidly which was concerning as the lounge wasn’t getting heavy use. We also noticed creaking from the framework of the chaise section which we didn’t use much as it was just the two of us. Final straw was when we noticed one of the back feet of the lounge was an inch and a half off the ground, most likely was always like that as it was to the back and up against a wall out of our view. We then decided this was enough for us to contact Amart and they did their upmost best to make sure that we were not going to have a justified outcome from the get go. What they did do was send a 3rd party repair man out to access and repair our twisted lounge, he removed the back of the lounge after seeing the dip and the foot in the air only to tell us there was nothing to repair as there was no damage. So I asked is it a manufacturing fault? It was awkward as he was obviously in a position where he’s told never to admit fault but it clearly was. He said he would take photos and send a report back to Amart to which they will have on their files for years to come. Two weeks later after not hearing back we reached out again and to which they responded with a convoluted stale email stating that they have fantastic customer service and they will no longer be responding to us from here on… …So there’s what to expect from Amart in a nutshell in response to a warranty claim, very clear and now in our saved emails. So in summary we would have to say rubbish furniture and equally rubbish after sales service and their extended warranty is nothing short of a scam, very frustrating. If you buy furniture from Amart you might as well go throw your cash into a landfill cause thats exactly where this lounge is going. From reading the other reviews I won’t be alone."
