"Staff are very good and try hard to look after you. Front desk staff of two women were excellent when we checked in, although checking out with a male he thought we were untrustworthy and challenged our claims. When you spend close to $2300 and they are quibbling over a $19 bill I do wonder where their priorities lie. Rooms were ordinary. We had a great view and a comfy bed and pillows, but stains on the couches and carpet, kitchen equipment not working, non matching wine glasses, blunt knives and missing kitchen tools were just poor management and cheap cost cutting. The TV system is confusing, three remotes for heavens sake! No movies, only free to air available. It is clear nothing has been upgraded for a decade and it is in desperate need of a refit, or at least some decent maintenance. Would I go back? Highly unlikely."

"I've stayed in much worse but this did disappoint. Not somewhere I would stay again. Liked: The location was great as close to CBD. The bed was very comfortable and the staff quite pleasant. There was a Woolworths within walking distance which worked well for us too. Disliked: Our safe didn't work. It wasn't getting any power. We mentioned it to the lovely ladies at reception and were told it would be fixed. That never happened. Our room was not cleaned on the first and second day. We asked about this on the second day and received an apology, reception took our room number and told us it would be done that day. Great! We got back to the room that night and again, it was not cleaned. When we asked again on day three we were informed we needed to pay extra for that service. I was surprised it wasn't part of the booking (as that wasn't made clear on the booking platform) but said we were happy to pay and the receptionist offered to do it for free. That was so nice! We came back to the hotel on day three to new towels, new soap/shampoo and that was it. No dusting, floor not vacuumed, and bed made by quickly pulling up the top cover, that's it. This is the only day our room was done over 5 days. I have no problem cleaning my room but we had nothing to do that with. Also there were no shelves at all in the room except for the top shelf in the closet and two small night tables. We used an ironing board to put out clothes on as there was nowhere else to put them and created a 'shelf' by stacking two suitcases in the closet to put our smaller items on top. There was one hook to hang one towel (which is where we put the hand towel) but nowhere to hang our bath towels except over the shower door. The building has issues with the water pipes 'singing' when used in the area our room was. It wasn't too bad but woke us up a few times"

"Second time we’ve stayed here and loved it just as much as the first time. We got upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom 2 bath deluxe room. The bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean, beautiful view and the guys at the front desk were lovely and always very helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning :)"

"Had an amazing stay, it was my sisters birthday and they upgraded us and made her feel so special! Nice clean rooms with city view. Rooms were quiet. Location was so good too! 100% will stay again!"

"Location was perfect for where we wanted to be. The room was better than we expected for the price we paid. Was clean with plenty of room & facilities. Had everything we needed. We had breakfast included which was a full breakfast plus coffee and was delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again next time we are in Melbourne."
