"I don't usually do this but if you had answered my emails maybe this won't be here I called and booked an appointment. Was booked for a after 5 pm phone call. 9 pm and no phone call Called again and was told the referral was not in Emailed and confirmed it's there. Dint inform me that an appointment was made Got a message to tell me the doctor will call. In 1 minute. At 7.29 pm for a 7.30 appointment. I missed the call cause I was putting the baby to sleep. Never heard back. Despite writing an email I'm a doctor my self. The doctor was great that's why I'm trying to reach out for advice on my baby but this is beyond a joke"
"Extremely rude receptionist - one who was sitting on the left as I entered on 3rd Dec. I stood there looking at her but she was busy looking into her computer screen. Could have been a bit more polite."
"A few tips to future patients of this place. Do not expect an email reply to your booking enquiry (i sent five times from two email addresses in total, different days), even though it is nowhere stated that emails are unattended. If your appointment happens to be on Sunday, the entrance is from the inside of the small shopping centre (left hand side shop Westmead Doctors). You will not be notified by anyone beforehand. An extra star is because the staff had picked up the phone and that is how i booked the appointment (if you have speech or hearing problems, someone will need to call on your behalf). The staff would then require that you upload your referral to their EMAIL. Going back to the beginning, they will not confirm that they have received it, even when you kindly ask them to. So you will need to phone them again to hear the confirmation. If you happen to write your history for the specialist to read before your appointment, and you emphasise that in the email containing the referral, the staff will NOT forward it to the specialist. Have a printed copy with yourself if you want them to read. If you happen to be an adult looking for neuropsychological testing (cognitive problems and potential autism), please avoid seeing Ms. Diana Huang..a neuropsychologist who is also working with adults according to her biography. She tried to discourage me from doing the test saying it is too expensive for me (??!!), and the test should be started from childhood. She asked my family member and carer what is his life like, even though i am doing my best for our lives to be fulfilled..AND that is not why i saw neuropsychologist in the first place. Then she suggested i do some volunteering (knowing that i do and did even as a barely functional person)..also not seen her for counselling..WHILE she is working on Sundays and charging full price. People with feelings of guilt please avoid seeing this professional. I almost felt useless and miserable even though i do not have these feelings to begin with. AND i found the neuropsychological testing without her help at Macquarie university at a discounted rate with only a few months wait. There is a way out, but please do not let anyone, especially meant to be specialists, discourage you! Good luck..and obviously not recommending this place and the professional mentioned above."
"The worst experience we ever had, especially with the scan centre there, is there a rating less than 1 I would give them in minus. They just need money and no support. Why do we go for this private centreβs when government public hospitals are far more better in terms of service, worst worst experience spending lot of money there is their motive"
"Highly disappointed. I had an appointment for my son, the day of the appointment they called and pushed it back by half an hour witch was fine. So I arrive at my appointment 20 minutes early as you do and I'm waiting for about about hour, I ask the receptionist how far away we will be and she tells me 2 hours. I then book an appointment for another day. We go into covid lockdown and I'm not bringing my baby out when not nessisary so we organise a phone call consultation. They never rung. So I call them and the receptionist tells me he is with a patient and will call in 5 minutes. They never call so I try to call back and they ignore my phone calls. This is so unprofessional as it is a specialist appointment for my son who could have something wrong with him witch needs to be addressed as soon as possible."
