Welcome to KAZ Possums Child Care Centre, located at 13 Truman Street in Hurstville, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing the best learning environment for your child.

At KAZ Possums Child Care Centre, our goal is to create an extended family atmosphere that offers your child the security, warmth, and love necessary for their growth.

Our team of professional and dedicated educators has designed a program that encourages children to learn through exploration and stimulating experiences. We strive to create an environment that fosters enjoyable and creative learning, supporting your child's growth in all areas.

We are proud to announce that KAZ Possums Child Care Centre has been rated as Meeting National Quality Standard by The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority, with our program exceeding expectations.

With a capacity of 46 places, our Child Care Centre features two rooms catering to children aged 2 to 6 years, including a pre-school room. We operate five days a week, 49 weeks a year, from 8am to 5.30pm.

In addition to KAZ Possums Child Care Centre, we also operate other Child Care Centres across New South Wales. Our Dolans Bay location houses the KAZ Early Learning Centre, while in the Southern Highlands, we have Kamalei, which runs separate Preschool and Early Years child care centers.

At KAZ Possums, we offer a unique gross motor skills program called KAZAROO. This program aims to build confidence, endurance, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and body awareness through activities such as running, jumping, hopping, and more.

Our curriculum goes beyond traditional learning by exploring ways to connect children with the land. We teach them about gardens, animals, growing their own food, responsible use of water and energy, waste minimization, recycling, and environmental health. Children also have the opportunity to care for chickens from eggs to adulthood in our onsite coop.

Music plays a significant role in our program as well. Children are introduced to various instruments and learn to play basic tunes while singing along.

We believe in fostering independence and life skills, which is why we introduce children to cooking through our cooking program. They have the chance to cook their own food using basic recipes.

In an increasingly digital world, we understand the importance of computer literacy. Our computer program aims to teach children about the purpose and use of a computer mouse, the difference between hardware, and how to care for a computer.

Dance is another avenue for self-expression and physical activity. We expose children to various dance styles, and they even have the opportunity to showcase their skills for parents.

Cultural diversity is celebrated at KAZ Possums Child Care Centre. Through our program, children explore the language and culture of countries such as Greece, China, New Zealand, and Australia, with a special emphasis on our Aboriginal heritage.

We also offer a range of activities that stimulate children's thinking, communication, investigation, exploration, and problem-solving skills.
