They are active participants in our play-based program, which supports their social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development, while nurturing their language and literacy skills. Children at Woodstock have the opportunity to engage with a variety of play spaces, which are planned weekly based on their interests, goals, strengths, and inspirations from their families and the local community. These play spaces include loose parts, socio-dramatic play, creative arts, language and literacy centers, STEM, and construction.
Our outdoor play area welcomes children's exploration and promotes a deep understanding of their role in caring for the natural environment. Here, children's senses are evoked through sand play, water play, and gardening. They also develop gross motor skills and spatial awareness through activities such as climbing the obstacle course, riding bikes, and playing ball games.
At Woodstock, we continuously develop school readiness skills from the moment children enter our doors. Independence, resilience, sense of agency, and self-help skills are supported throughout the day. Additionally, in the year before school, children engage in a planned school readiness program designed by our team of early childhood leaders. This program further enhances their readiness for school and is integrated into both indoor and outdoor play, allowing children of all ages to develop these skills.

"Both of my children were care for at Woodstock Burwood Centre over the last 5 years. They were always happy and excited to go in the morning. The staffs, educators and management are super friendly and responsive. They do show their care and have passionate in this industry. I could really feel the bonding between the children and their educators. We were very happy with the activities and preschool programs, and we were constantly given feedbacks on how our children develop. The Centre is always clean and had high hygiene standard during COVID period. They have great facilities and serve really nice food. I cannot recommand it more. I just wish them a continue success and bring great memories to more children."
