"Recently got my Camry serviced here. The service was satisfactory however costed much more expensive than anticipated. After the service we were given a quote for repairs needed to be done to the car. Again the price was much higher than expected. We got the car repaired by another mechanic for close to half the price. Another part of the service we were not happy with is the service checklist includes numerous different checks including "Check lights, wipers etc. However when we took the Camry to another mechanic not too long after he pointed out to us that the rear number plate lights were out. The labour charge is much higher at John Scott than most other mechanic. Edit: Thanks for your reply. In the reply you have written they went over the servicing cost "not only once but twice" however not me or my father knew. On the day you took the car and did not let me know anything about the servicing cost at all. Only heard about it when I went to pay. Also no reply from you about the number plate lights being out - which is a check done in servicing. Thanks"

"I am so impressed with Kostya and Daniel. They are really excellent mechanics who are lovely to deal with and, I can tell, take great pride in their work. They don't jump to conclusions for the sake of time but are careful with their diagnostics and happy to explain/discuss their reasoning if needed. Natasha in the office is also great to deal with. She is really helpful and "on the ball" with what is happening in the shop. Long version: I do most of my own work and we have 5 cars in the immediate family. I need a great mechanic when I don't have the equipment, space, time or experience/expertise to do a particular job. I have pretty exacting standards and expect that if I am going to pay to get something done then it has to be done better than I can do it myself! I also check any work that has been done. These guys were (highly )recommended to me by a mate. They replaced the clutch and flywheel and associated components in my Land Cruiser and it now drives like it should and I could not be happier with their work."
