"One star is one too many in my opinion! I DO NOT recommend this school at all!!! The teachers and students are bullies! My daughter was bullied by her peers and after many phone calls with the school I learned that there was no documentation of the incidents having occurred. The teacher I was dealing with regarding the bullying was the year level coordinator and she protected the bullies. The school claims to have a no bullying policy and that incidents are very low and it would appear that way because they don't document any of them. Shame on you Mt Lilydale!!!"

"Impressive looking school, but that's about it. The standard of educators/teachers is not great and their ability to connect with students in away that helps them learn and bring out their best is sadly lacking. There are a couple of exceptions but few and far between.. More time helping students rather than checking the colour of their socks and haircuts might help build better relations between students and teachers, as well as more class time and assistance to complete work. In hindsight, I wish I had listened to those who said to avoid this school, but its hard call when your kids want to stick with their friends they've grown up with. I would recommend having a good look around before enrolling at MLMC"

"I am a teacher at this school and I don’t feel that some of the comments mentioned give an accurate description of our college. MLMC is a great school for both teachers and students. I enjoy all the classes that I teach and is due to the fantastic students that attend this college. Our students are caring, helpful, kind, generous and always willing to give up their time to help others. As a teacher, I feel very well respected and cared for at this school by leadership, staff and students. We become teachers to help students achieve their goals and to support them with their education and I can tell you right now, that we care a great deal about our students.We aim to provide high quality learning experiences for students and we also have various programs to support students with their learning. When I am on yard duty, students are always happy to come and chat to me in their friendship groups. I rarely see any student alone. Students are very welcoming to newcomers and I find that they adapt well and make friends quickly when they attend our college. We have an excellent pastoral care program which reinforces the importance of good values and service. MLMC is a fantastic school and I feel very privileged and blessed to work here."

"Teachers dont let girls go to the bathroom when they're on their periods. Even after stating the fact that they were on their period they still did not let them go to the bathroom. There is now a rule for the school that students aren't allowed to go to the bathroom during class even in an emergency situation."
