About the Business
Welcome to Northside Christian College, a transformative institution located at 31-61 McLeans Road in Bundoora, Australia. As an establishment dedicated to the wonder of learning and guided by the teachings of Christ, we strive to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for our students.
At Northside Christian College, we believe in the importance of recognizing and appreciating the hard work and dedication of our Teacher Aides. That is why we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Teacher Aide Appreciation Week between August 28th and September 1st this year. This event allows us to honor the invaluable contributions made by our teacher aides in supporting our students' educational journey.
As we embark on a new school year, we extend a warm welcome to all students, families, and staff who are new to our College community. We understand that starting at a new school can be both exciting and nerve-wracking, and we want to assure you that we are here to support and guide you every step of the way. Our prayers are with you as you begin this new chapter in your educational journey.
We are proud to have concluded a year of flourishing through the provision of Christian Education at Northside Christian College. Last week, at our Celebration events, we took the time to thank God for all the blessings and achievements we experienced throughout the year. We are committed to continuing to provide a nurturing and faith-based education that empowers our students to reach their full potential.
One of the highlights of the upcoming month is our annual Book Week Dress Up Day on August 25th. This day is a celebration of the joy of reading and encourages students to embrace their favorite book characters. Whether it's a homemade costume or one from a previous year, every effort adds to the fun and excitement of the day. This year's theme is 'Read, Grow, Inspire', reminding us of the power of literature to inspire and transform lives.
We are also thrilled to see the enthusiasm of our students in Years 5-12 for the Write a Book in a Day competition. This collaborative 12-hour illustrated book publishing competition not only fosters creativity but also raises vital funds to support kids' cancer research. We are proud of our students' dedication to making a difference through their love for storytelling.
In line with our commitment to innovation, our Whole School Assemblies in Week A of this year will be streamed live on a Zoom Webinar. These assemblies, which commence at 8:40 am each fortnight, allow our entire community to come together virtually. If you miss an assembly, recent ones can be viewed on our Facebook page, ensuring that you never miss out on important updates and celebrations.
Northside Christian College is proud to have developed a unique and strategic teaching and learning framework in 2016. This framework serves as a guide for our College community in the development of future educational practices, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education.
Through our INSPiRE program, launched in 2016, we aim to develop the unique gifts and talents that God has bestowed upon our students. By nurturing these gifts, we empower our students to use them to benefit and transform the world around them, making a positive impact in their communities.
We understand the importance of parental involvement in a student's educational journey. That is why we provide all Secondary School parents and guardians with online access to their child's assessment feedback and results via the Continuous Online Reporting system. This allows parents to stay informed and actively participate in their child's academic progress.
Mentoring plays a crucial role in helping our students realize their full God-given potential. At Northside Christian College, we offer mentoring programs that pair students with experienced individuals who can guide and support them on their journey. We believe that through mentorship, our students can thrive and achieve their goals.
In 2017, Northside Christian College participated in an innovative video conference partnership with other Christian Schools Australia secondary school providers. This partnership provided our students with unique learning opportunities and expanded their horizons, allowing them to connect and collaborate with peers from different parts of the country.

"Best school. The teachers always help you, the well-being team is very supportive . Highly recommend"
"it was an alright school but the teachers were really unfair and they treated kids differently and they have unfair rules like for real dont come to this school cuz this school is trash"
"A family environment Gosh have they loved our child who had a rough year ( covid was easy compared to what we went through). Send them there from prep. They accept all types of Christians even non believers. They are the last to judge. The Grade 6 Graduation ceremony was so moving. The counsellor a darling. Mt Gorfine the Grade 6 teacher one of the most humblest teachers I’ve ever met. My daughter struggled with school After being bullied for my disability ( an not being part of the mother’s group). Sge was never invited to people parties. Unfortunately we only found this school when she was in Grade 6 then covid happened. If you have a shy child or want to raise children with manners. Have teachers who call their students “ friends” well that just says it all. Thanks NCC. From the bottom of my heart Ingrid Burton"
"Great school. All the way from prep to year 12. The teachers and staff have been like an extended family for my children. I am extremely grateful."
"Amazing school with a caring community. Teachers are willing to stay back after school to help you with anything. Teachers care about your health and wellbeing,"
