About the Business
Welcome to Mullum Primary School, located at 18 Panfield Avenue in Ringwood, Victoria. Our school is a highly regarded establishment and a point of interest within the community. As a primary school, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
Child safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance to us at Mullum Primary School. We have implemented comprehensive policies and strategies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students. At Mullum Primary School, we believe in providing enriching experiences for our students beyond the classroom. This week, our after-school care program had a special visit from Aracelli from Reptile Encounters. The children had the opportunity to learn about various reptiles and amphibians and even share their own knowledge on the subject.
In our Bush Talk session, we embarked on the exciting task of making baskets. Although it can be a fiddly process, we are enthusiastic about continuing our work on them and sharing the final products with you. Additionally, the entire school came together to participate in a dragon boat race after learning about, designing, and building the boats in their Kooramook groups.
We would like to express our gratitude to Ringwood Square for their generous donation of $1000 to our Dance Around the World fundraising event. We encourage everyone to support local businesses as they support our local community.
Our talented band had their first rehearsal this week and they are already on their way to 'Rockstar' glory! Stay tuned for upcoming performances and be prepared to be amazed by their musical talents.
For those looking for a convenient lunch option, we offer the Hungry4Success Lunchbox. Orders can be placed at the school office by recess on Thursdays.
We also have an exciting event planned for all fathering figures and their children. It will be a great opportunity to bond and create lasting memories together.
In terms of transition activities, we have scheduled school-wide sessions at 2:00 and 9:00 for all other grade levels.
We hope this information provides you with a comprehensive understanding of Mullum Primary School. If you have any further inquiries or would like to visit our school, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you to our community!

"This place use to be a good school that supported and actually cared for students, however the change with the new principle and the absent and retirement of old staff members has completely ruined the school. I can honestly say that this school is done for, and I can't wait for it to eventually close down. As the closing of this once great school is now completely inevitable. Do not go to this school, unless you want your kid to suffer incredible mental health concerns and anxiety."
"Great school. My daughter is attending and my son will attend next year as well. Lots of school activities and a great Community feeling. Teachers and principle welcoming kids in the morning outside of the gate. Very safe environment. It's an excellent school."
"Looks like a small and sorted school. But the lack of diversity worries me. One look at the staff profile confirms that. I believe, in today's day and age, the composition of the school staff must reflect more inclusivity & diversity- keeping in pace with the country's multi-cultural profile. This is not a comment on the school's educational standards or even the views of its individual staff - seems like a management concern."
"school ends very late and children need some time with their family and plus they need to do their homework, would not recommend going there"
"I love our school. We have had two boys attending Mullum Primary School since 2014 and a third starting in Foundation in 2019. We love the inclusive environment, the opportunities that are provided for learning and the community feel. A nature playspace has recently been built on the grounds which the kids love, and our school will also be undergoing an amazing transformation in 2020 after Mullum was the recipient of a grant to fund a permanent modular building, replacing old with new. I would definitely recommend Mullum if you are looking for these qualities in a school for your children."
