"Honest review. The concept of a "Specialist" Cancer Centre really is fantastic but I cannot say that my experience with my loved one's treatment at this facility's Cancer Day Care Centre has been the best. On the weekend staff are lovely, attentive, caring and absolutely fabulous. The environment there on the weekend is calm and how you would expect it the cancer centre to be. Sadly our experience during the weekdays is far far away from this. Think chaos & utterly shambolic. Whilst I understand that they are very busy people, the weekday services have been far from satisfactory. We don't choose to be there but have to be, so being treated this badly is really unacceptable. I cannot see how anyone would give a 5 star review to the Day Care Centre based on the uncaring cold attitude and disrespectful behaviour of certain individuals who work at this centre during the week. They have no respect for you or your time. You do what they say or else. Right or wrong. You raise very important, valid, ongoing and worrying issues as well as raising glaring errors made. This results in vindictive behaviours eg carer being barred from entry and the patient treated poorly. They were totally unprepared for an emergency and were only interested in leaving at closing time. Again and again the patient suffers. I agree with other negative comments on here. Some of the people that work during the week here have a terrible attitude towards patients and their carers, and need a reality check."

"Fantastic experience can’t speak highly enough of the staff who were all very professional, polite and just human! Going through cancer is never easy and can be a very scary experience, but these lovely people who do such a fantastic job, put your mind at ease and treat you with dignity and respect! Also, I love the facility and its lay out being very modern and clean with plenty of seating. Big shout out to Dr. Veness and his team"

"I have just recently completed my 6 chemotherapy + infusions [every 3 weeks]. I wish to thank every member of staff, doctors, nursing and ancillary personnel at the Princess Mary Clinic. I've just completed my 7th infusion [now 4 weekly intervals] of a Trial Drug in 'our' ongoing investigation of a theory to prolong life. How these [predominantly] ladies manage to maintain a smile is beyond me. The kindness shown together with their professional approach to every patient is remarkable. On the brighter side we're served morning tea/coffee, a picnic lunch [very nice] and afternoon tea/coffee while the staff regularly miss meal breaks and/or rest periods."

"My chemo treatment has now come to an end, I wanted to say a big thank you to the nurses in Day care room Thursday morning’s for your kindness and patience with me. Jessica sure took the time to find my veins. I will be forever grateful to the ladies who made it a lot easier! Thank you team!"
