"This place is too good. From education to community, to their own pool, yes, this place is really good. Westbourne gives you lots of chances to mingle with friends in houses and organize lots of house events. They say they worry about your safety, which is actually true because almost every day, my head of house asks me how I am. The subjects are really fun to learn."

"Hi, for anyone reading this review. I was a student here from 1st-4th grade, so if you want a review from a student who is older then I guess just don't read this one. Pros: - Heaps of extra curricular activities (AND I MEAN A LOT) - Teachers are well educated - Large space Now, I'm not good at listing cons but, I will talk a little about mine / others experiences. Cons: - Kids can be real br@ts, there is a lot of full on bullying. (I experienced this) - A lot of homework and high school puts a lot of pressure on students. Apparently, if your grades aren't good enough in a particular subject in high school, the teachers ACTUALLY WILL NOT let you take that subject. - Junior school (Grade 3 to 6) is an absolute mess. run down and playground knocked down. "As an employee of the school for the last 5 years I would like to say the best part about working at Westbourne is the sense of community and inclusion across all facets of the school. I have never felt more welcome and appreciated as well as supported. My role has changed significantly at WGS over the years which is a testament to being encouraged to think outside the box, continuously improve and be genuinely passionate to help the school ameliorate. I also notice students are some of the most well behaved, intelligent and conscientious students I have met. Part of my role allows me to work with students and I must say, I have always been blown away by their tenacity and achievements. Love Westbourne!"

"I attended Westbourne as a student from Prep-12, graduating very recently. When I reflect on my experience now, words that come to mind are community, success and opportunity. With Westbourne, I was welcomed into a community that became my second home. Every staff member who I encountered made a genuine effort to know me. Every department had events and experiences which excite. I graduated with results that well-exceeded the prerequisite scores required to achieve my goals at university and beyond. This is a testament to the dedication of the school to achieve success whilst maintaining a nurturing environment. I had the opportunity to travel through Europe performing music, to Japan in exchange, and to Cambodia, learning about other cultures and lifestyles. These opportunities have shaped my life for the better. Now working at various other schools, I have developed a unique appreciation for the music and sport departments which Westbourne offers. The calibre of guidance is unmatched. On a whole, I truly believe that it will be a blessing to be able to send my future children to this school. I’m eternally grateful to have been brought up in this community."
