One of the unique aspects of our practice is that we provide access to our services from the comforts of your own home. Our Online Therapy and Telehealth services are available Australia-wide, with after-hours and weeknight appointments available. Research confirms that online telehealth sessions are just as practical as face-to-face sessions, and our highly experienced psychologists are skilled in providing online therapy and counselling.

We understand that children may also benefit from telehealth services, and we have found that children of all ages love the interactive and home-based support that our online services provide. In fact, children as young as three years old can engage in this process with the assistance of their parents.

The You In Mind program is specifically designed for individuals aged 13 who have a diagnosed mental illness or are at risk of developing one. This program offers both individual and group-based therapies. Similarly, our STAR4-Kids program provides free and confidential psychological therapies for children aged 3-12 years, including their parents or carers, who are at risk of developing mild to moderate mental illness.

As a registered NDIS provider of Therapeutic Supports, we offer mental health services for individuals with a permanent disability. Our services are available face-to-face and online, and we believe that addressing mental health issues can greatly improve the quality of life for NDIS participants.

Group therapy is another service we offer, where small groups of people meet with our specialist psychologists to discuss and explore specific issues such as anxiety. This collaborative approach allows individuals to gain insight into their situations and work through problems together. We offer both face-to-face and online group therapy options for children, parents, and adults.

At The ProActive Psychology Practice, we pride ourselves on being a dedicated clinic that offers a wide variety of therapeutic techniques and treatments informed by current research and experience. Our psychologists are committed to providing a warm, relaxed counselling environment that is safe, secure, and confidential. We accept referrals from various sources, including GPs, private individuals, NDIS, You In Mind, Suicide Prevention, and STAR4-Kids.

If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of suicide or has attempted suicide, our practice offers a FREE service to provide care and treatment during this critical time. While we are not an emergency service, we encourage you to reach out to us, your GP, or a mental health professional to get a referral for our services. Additionally, we offer assessments and report writing for individuals with special learning needs, brain injuries, or declining memory. Our assessments include IQ/cognitive and behavioral testing to better understand the needs of our clients.

As a registered provider of NDIS 'Therapeutic Supports' services, we offer services for children aged 7 years through to adults. We accept NDIS participant funding managed in three ways: self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed.
