Welcome to Catjump Preschool, a beloved institution located in Doncaster East, Australia. Situated on Polaris Drive, number 88, our preschool is a point of interest and a school that values and respects individuality, diversity, community, and family.

At Catjump Preschool, we take pride in our long and rich history of community involvement and ownership. Families, children, teachers, staff, and members of the local community all contribute to the strong sense of belonging that forms the basis of our learning programs. We firmly believe that it takes a community to raise a child, and this belief is reflected in our approach.

Our philosophy statement is the result of a collaborative process involving the management committee, families, teachers, staff, and most importantly, the voices of our children. We believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our 3 and 4-year-old children, and we are a sessional, not-for-profit community kindergarten.

Nestled in a quiet residential area, our preschool offers beautiful views from the playground to a pine tree reserve and community park. The natural and tranquil environment encourages exploration and discovery among our young learners.

In recognizing and honoring the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians and owners of this land and waters, we pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present. We also acknowledge the children who are their leaders of tomorrow and value their history and living culture.

Child safety is of utmost importance to us at Catjump Preschool. We are committed to providing a Child Safe environment and all our staff members undergo annual Child Safe training. We understand our legal and moral obligation to report any abuse allegations or concerns regarding a child's safety and wellbeing to the appropriate authorities.
