The name "Wahroonga" holds great cultural significance as it is derived from the Aboriginal word meaning "Our Home." This name perfectly captures the essence of our preschool, which is centered around community and providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and feel a sense of belonging.

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the rating of "Exceeding" the National Quality Standards. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to excellence in all areas of education and care, including educational programs and practices, children's health and safety, physical environment, staffing arrangements, relationships with children, collaborative partnerships with families and communities, as well as governance and leadership.

In Victoria, all children, both 3 and 4 years old, can access 15 hours of fee-free, government-funded kindergarten per week at Wahroonga Preschool. We believe that every child deserves the best start to their educational journey and in life.
