Welcome to Molesworth Street Kindergarten @ North Melbourne Primary School! Our brand new kindergarten is part of the state-of-the-art North Melbourne Primary School 'vertical school' campus, completed in May 2023. Located on Wurundjeri land, our modern and light-filled facility is designed to inspire children's learning.

One of the highlights of our kindergarten is the large, beautiful outdoor learning space on the top floor. This space provides children with the opportunity to explore, discover, and create in a natural environment. We believe in the power of play and encourage children to be spontaneous, take supported risks, and have fun while being wholly engaged in learning.

Being located within the school building offers numerous benefits for children and families. It allows children to experience learning in the broader school community and develop a strong sense of belonging. Our aim is to create authentic relationships to support individual children's wellbeing and development, with a strong emphasis on learning through play in nature.

Managed by the NSEYC, our purpose is to Love a Life of Learning and Living. We value Trust, Respect, Relationships, and Curiosity, and these values inform everything we do. We specialize in delivering high-quality early learning programs in close partnership with families, schools, and the broader community, as we believe this has enormous benefits for children's lifelong learning.

At Molesworth Street Kindergarten, we offer programs for both three-year-old and four-year-old children. All programs are 15 hours per week and completely FREE for families. Enrolling your child in our kindergarten will provide them with a strong foundation for their educational journey.

For 2023 enrolments, please download and complete the application form for either the 3-year-old or 4-year-old program and email it to office@nseyc.org.au. For 2024 enrolments, please follow the same process.
