Welcome to North West Brunswick Kindergarten (NWBK), a cherished institution in the heart of Brunswick, Australia. Since opening our doors in 1954, NWBK has been dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education and care to the local community. We are proud to be under the management of Moreland Community Child Care Centres Inc. (MCCCC) since January 2021, a not-for-profit organization with a strong commitment to quality child care.

Situated on Rose Street, NWBK is nestled within a serene suburban setting. Our classrooms boast high ceilings and large windows, flooding the space with natural light and offering a seamless connection to our beautiful children's garden. The garden is a haven of exploration, featuring well-established trees, shrubs, and plants, as well as elements of "messy play" such as rocks, logs, dirt, sand, and water. It is a space where children can engage with nature, fostering their curiosity and imagination.

At NWBK, our dedicated staff members hold a diverse range of early childhood qualifications, bringing a wealth of knowledge and lived experiences to our programs. We are passionate about creating innovative and collaborative learning environments that are both fun and positive. We believe in building strong, respectful partnerships with families and the local community, recognizing the importance of working together to support each child's unique development.

One of our standout programs is the Italian Kindergarten, which offers a full 15-hour bilingual preschool program. This program follows the national curriculum framework, integrating language learning through play, Italian cultural traditions, and language. We warmly welcome children of all backgrounds, including those with Italian heritage and non-Italian families. Our Italian Kindergarten is led by a qualified early childhood teacher who is fluent in Italian, and we also have an additional Language Teacher supporting the program. This program is a designated bilingual program under the Early Childhood Languages Program.

Additionally, NWBK offers a weekly, single session Italian Intro 3-Year-Old kindergarten program, providing younger children with a gentle introduction to the Italian language and culture.
