The Orchard Bar and Grill Ringwood

"I had a great experience at The Orchard. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were treated to exceptional service. Lachy at the bar offered to take my dripping umbrella, and Bianca was ready to seat us and continued to cater to our every need throughout the night. She made well-informed recommendations and even added in a special rose-shaped lemon garnish to our drinks to top it all off. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was buzzing (perhaps also in part due to the Australia vs France world cup semi-finals playing in the next room) but also thanks to the lovely setting and people. 10/10 recommend!"

"My partner and I decided to try The Orchard because it looked beautiful in the photos and the menu looked pretty good. We got there and were seated quickly near the window, where we ordered the Chef's choice menu that consisted of two small plates, one large plate and two side dishes for $65 per head. That night, we were informed that the two small plates were smoked trout and pork belly, the large plate was a steak and the two side dishes were roast potatoes and a Greek salad. The trout was served in a tiny ramekin, and was basically pre-prepared smoked trout and micro herbs with a tiny blob of mayo on the side. It was disappointing and bland. The pork belly small plate was much better. It was well seasoned and still slightly crispy. Then the meal went downhill very fast. The steak was a tiny, thin piece that was barely enough for one person, let alone for two. We were a bit shocked that the restaurant thought it was reasonable to serve such a small serving size for a meal for which were charging $65/head. The side of roast potatoes was decent but they 'Greek salad' had NO DRESSING on it at all. It was baby spinach leaves, grapes?! and fetta. We informed the waiter that we were disappointed in the meal but all they said was "Sorry to hear that". There are much better options in Ringwood for the price we paid, and we won't ever be back again."

"Good food and ambience. We had the Herbed Josper-grilled chicken, King George Whiting and lamb tomahawk with sides of potato and broccolini with the Black Forest cherry pie for dessert. The large platters are more than enough to share between people and I highly recommend the potatoes and chicken!"

"I recently visited and dine The Orchard restaurant and bar. It’s located in the new Sebel Ringwood hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The decor was modern and chic, but still maintained a warm and welcoming vibe. We enjoyed the ceviche, pork belly, steak and king fish but you can never leave complete a meal without local wines and dessert! Overall, my experience at The Orchard Restaurant and Bar was great, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a stylish and welcoming restaurant."
