Welcome to Riverwalk Primary School, a brand new establishment situated in the vibrant community of Werribee, Australia. Located at Timbarra Drive, 57, our primary school is not only a point of interest but also a crucial educational institution catering to the needs of the growing population in the area.

One of the main objectives behind the establishment of Riverwalk Primary School is to alleviate the enrolment pressures faced by surrounding schools. In addition to our primary school, we are proud to announce that we have plans to open a kinder on-site in 2021. This initiative will not only facilitate a smooth transition for local children from pre-school to primary school but also reduce the number of drop-offs for parents with kinder and school-aged children.

This means that we have tailored our facilities and resources to cater to a higher number of students with disabilities compared to a typical mainstream school. Originally known as Wyndham South (Riverwalk) Primary School during the planning and construction phase, our new name pays tribute to our location in the beautiful 'Riverwalk Estate' and the nearby Werribee River. This name was carefully chosen after extensive consultation with local communities, taking into account their valuable feedback and the guiding principles for naming a new school.

Riverwalk Primary School has received significant support from the Department of Education. The 2017-18 State Budget allocated funds for purchasing the land for our school, and the 2018-19 State Budget provided an additional $23.7 million for construction. Furthermore, $3 million was allocated for the early learning facility in the same budget. In the 2019-20 State Budget, our school was among the recipients of the $624.8 million allocated for new schools.
