"The service was extremely poor. Despite informing the waiter that we were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids under 3, he refused to let a kind lady sitting nearby move to another table so we could merge two tables to accommodate our group. Instead, he insisted on merging other tables for people who arrived after us, and he was very rude in telling the lady to stay where she was, even though she offered to move twice."

"They didn’t accept my hey you order for about 10 mins so it then looked like I was rude when I told them not to worry about the coffee as otherwise I would miss my ferry. This has happened a few times so I will not be going back. Coffee is ok"

"Not always so friendly. Buyer beware! Any of the other cafes around the wharf are better, Max Brenner or Barefoot. Cove may be convenient, but the coffee always tastes old/cheap. The girl who works here on Sunday mornings was quite rude, after getting my (simple) order wrong. She intimated that it was my fault, and then made the replacement coffee really really hot. Spiteful! (I can't believe she works there unsupervised, and if she is being paid Sunday loading and superannuation, then I would be very surprised.) So, with regards to me, so gets to have her way.. I will never bother her again. Also, after all that, the croissant I bought was old and stale. 1 star! I would give you zero if I could!"

"Not fantastic by any means, but they're pretty quick, friendly and the coffee is made with care. Generally a good range of Luxe (bakery) pastries available. Prices are very fair considering proximity to tourist trap pricing at the adjacent ferry terminal."
