Welcome to Possums Corner Child Care Centre, a community-run not-for-profit establishment located in Lane Cove North, Australia. Our centre is dedicated to providing exceptional care for children from 2 months of age up to preschool. As a long daycare service, we also offer a preschool program for children in the year before school.

At Possums Corner, we believe in offering a holistic approach to early childhood education. That's why we include two sessions of Mandarin per week in our daily rate for preschoolers. Additionally, we provide optional extracurricular activities such as Happy Feet, Ready Steady Go, and Pro Tennis, allowing children to explore their interests at an additional cost.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, which is why we provide biodegradable nappies and dispose of them in biodegradable bin liners. Our aim is to create a sustainable future for our children.

Your child's nutrition is of utmost importance to us. That's why we have a full-time cook on-site, serving morning tea, hot freshly prepared lunch, and afternoon tea daily. We believe that providing nutritious meals is essential for their growth and development.

We understand the importance of keeping families informed about their child's progress and activities. That's why we use Storypark, an online platform, to share updates and events with our families. This ensures that parents are always connected and involved in their child's learning journey.

Our dedicated staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a homely, natural environment. We take pride in our exceeding rating in all quality areas, achieved during our assessment in 2017. This recognition reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care and education for every child.

Possums Corner is managed by a committee comprised of parents who have children enrolled at our centre. This unique approach ensures that the needs and interests of our families are always at the forefront of our decision-making process.

We are open Mondays to Fridays from 7 am to 6 pm, operating for 50 weeks of the year. Our convenient location offers easy access to parking and transport options, making drop-offs and pick-ups hassle-free.
