QF insurance wasted 5 days of the process by booking my car into a nominated repairer that closed down four years ago! I only found this out by accident from the towing company. Called again just now to be told it may take up to 16 days to have the damage assessed. Appalling service and I'm seriously wondering now why I changed insurers."
"I have been with Qantas insurance for a few years and have been pretty ok until last year or so . Now it is an unoganized, unprofessional company. Claims don't upload, process takes forever, money is taking two weeks or more to come back into account. You receive your money from us as per your direct debit instructions.. but then we then have to call and chase our rightful payments.this is not good enough. "If I could give 0 stars I would and that would be too much! Six weeks after the accident Qantas insurance have had the car towed 3 times but still dont have a quote! I have not had one update despite paying over $1500 in excess. When I call to follow up I was lied to and told they had a quote and the matter had been sent to difficult claims dept. The matter had been sent to an assessor but they did not have a quote. At the time of the accident I asked for the car to be towed directly to the repairer it is now being towed to 6 weeks later. But, no they have to go to a holding yard and then and assessor's yard first. In the process it sounds like further damage has been done to the car during the towing process. The worst insurer I have ever dealt with and I deal with insurance claims for a living. DO NOT USE QANTAS IF YOU WANT SERVICE."
