"Upon entering the taxi at 11:00 PM, I noticed that the meter had been initiated at a fare of $10:30, which immediately struck me as incorrect. When I brought this matter to the attention of the driver, he explained that it was due to weekend rates. However, after verifying the official weekend rates, I discovered that they were, in fact, $6. The taxi had an unpleasant odor and was dirty. Additionally, the driver seemed to be engrossed in a phone call in a language that sounded like Indian, while wearing Air Pods. It is important that all taxi drivers, regardless of their background, respect and adhere to Australian rules and regulations when providing their services. I reported the taxi to NSW taxi council, who contacted Black And White taxis. Who did not provide a refund for incorrect charging and no formal apology. This company should not have the opportunity to have NSW licenses because they have below standard drivers and administration."

"Scam no less. We were at Sydney airport undecided between taxi or Uber. UberXL quoted $60 so I thought taxi would be similar but there were minivan taxis for luggage so we chose a taxi. At destinati on in CBD, meter displayed $80 but driver said plus 50% so $120 because of big van and toll fee! Wow, what a bad surprise. Never again! Choose Uber and know what you get"

"This company is more of a scam ripoff rather than a taxi company. We got in at walsh bay and headed towards concord 13kms in total. Uber prices were $34 and usual cabs are 40ish at night. They turned the meter on. We arrived it was $79. Biggest fare ever paid for 13 kms. It's disgusting that they're allowed to do that to people."

"Just had a Black & White cab driver pull up to our number in the taxi rank queue at Sydney Domestic Terminal, ask us where we were going before he let us anywhere near the boot to stow our bags and said “I’m going west side” (the opposite direction) and refused to let us in the car. A lot of attitude from the driver who when questioned by the person manning the taxi rank basically shrugged it off. Your company policy expressly states for Sydney Airport pickups that: “Drivers are required to accept all fares, small or large, from the airport. The kerbside management team will help you and your driver with this request”. Pretty poor form. But sound from the dreadful reviews below and given the cowboy pricing system that he saved us a lot of money!! For company reference, his licence plate is T545 and he’s not doing your reputation any favours."

"Unfreaking beleiveable. I live in the inner west and I’ve never had to pay more than 50 bucks (which is already a lot) from the airport to my home, even on weekends and past midnight. I couldn’t see the meter as I was in the car and had a bad feeling as cabs are notorious for going this but I would have never in my wildest dreams guessed that I’ll be charged 95 bucks for the same trip. Asked the driver for his name and he refused to give it to me claiming it was a Sunday fare and it was because I was getting picked up from the international terminal. Considering this seems to be a pattern with the company, I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities because the last time I checked, fraud and scams are in fact illegal in this country"
