"Another doggie place with disrespectful stuff. It's 9.45 and I wanted to have a quick beer. They said the bar is shut without any calling for last drinks. They're opened till ten and I could finish my drink within 10 minutes and be out before closing time. But no I wasn't playing pokies I played pool and had two rounds of drinks for us so I guess not much of making money from us. Dogs !"

"My friends and I are the only regulars at this place, we are there almost every week. Tonight, our food was dry and overcooked with hair in one of our sauces. When asked for a refund the manager was being disrespectful and concluded that she wouldn’t remake it or give a refund. Also, the fact they took almost half an hour to make ours drinks when we order through QR codes they have all over this place. After 3 hours of us drinking, eating and spending money in this place the manager has the audacity to tell us to leave after we sat down from playing pool with bogus excuses. It was clear that she only told us to leave as she knew we were done spending money. We have never had any problems under the other managers but this girl has had an issue with my friends and I for absolutely no reason. Disgusting attitude and behaviour. We will not back and now let’s see who else is willing to spend money on weekly basis. LOLL"

"A friend that visited here previously recommended Smithfield Tavern & their steak, said it was one of the best in the area. He wasn’t wrong, was skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised how good the steak was. Heard they recently changed kitchen too. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, which is rare for taverns/pubs, they usually always overcook. Very reasonably priced too at $17, but they have a special for lunch for $15, would have to say this is one of the best value steak I have had in Sydney. Fries are cooked very well and have a good crunch to them. Sauce didn’t cost anything extra with a wide variety and good serving size too. Service was friendly and we were served very quickly, really can’t fault this meal @ all."

"Came in with the fam and had the 400gr grazier rump steaks and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Premises was very large and clean. Steaks were cooked perfectly! could not fault whatsoever. The schnitzel was pretty good also. Service was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. Really wished the ribs were available, maybe next time. Also, shame the table ordering system wasn’t operational for food items, hopefully the table ordering system is back up and running soon. All in all, not bad at all. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area."

"Came here for dinner on a Friday night with my partner. Staff were very friendly which is always a plus. As far as atmosphere goes it's a tavern so it's pretty nice and basic. The meals were really nice, the pork belly was melt in your mouth, parmigiana was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Chips and salad were fresh. Highly recommended place for dinner of you're interested in honest pub food"
