Since its establishment in 1991, the Altona Meadows Community Centre has grown alongside the surrounding communities, offering a diverse range of programs and activities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Whether you're interested in hobbies and leisure, recreational pursuits, vocational and educational opportunities, performing arts, music, dance, health and wellbeing, fitness, or social and support groups, we have something for everyone.
Our centre was purpose-built by the Hobsons Bay City Council and is run by an independent Committee of Management comprised of local residents who bring their knowledge and expertise to ensure an open and inclusive space for all. We take pride in creating a welcoming environment that meets the needs of our local and surrounding residents.
Throughout the school terms, we offer a wide variety of programs and activities to keep you engaged and enriched. Additionally, we provide occasional childcare and supported playgroups, giving parents and guardians a well-deserved break while their children are taken care of in a safe and nurturing environment.
