"Update on reply below :- Simply untrue. The watch was taken by a lady with not amazing english and i paid cash for the battery change. I absolutely was not made aware that the watch would loose its water resistance when this was done. there is no way i would have agreed to the service if you had told me the watch was unusable in water. Ever. I had a battery replaced in a water resistant watch. $ 20 cash- seemed like a good deal. 8 years that watch has been surfed in, swam in and showered in- one week after using it , its full of water, then rusted out and the inside fell apart. I call the store and I get told " yes thats because we didn't pressure test it- no watch is waterproof without pressure testing. Would have been handy to know this prior. Not particularly happy now my $1000 dollar watch is destroyed."
