"Dropped in here for dessert. Presentation of food was great however I feel the doughnut fries were overcooked. I ordered the vanilla latte which was way too sweet and overpowered the coffee. We were there at night and the wind blowing through the open doors made it cold inside. Didn’t have the greatest experience with the dessert menu but I definitely want to go back and try the mains."

"XS Espresso was nothing short of enjoyable. The big breakfast with its generous portions packed with all the breakfast essentials, including eggs, bacon, chorizo, grilled tomato, mushrooms, and toast. This dish is a true crowd-pleaser. The delightful sausage and egg roll left me fully satisfied. This delectable creation combines juicy sausage patties, perfectly cooked eggs, and a soft roll that adds a delightful texture. The bbq sauce they used truly lifted the dish, and flavours are simply fantastic. It's a handheld breakfast option that is not only convenient but also bursting with yumminess."

"Horrific experience. We have always ordered pizzas from XS and although the downside was they always took a while they were well worth the wait because they were so good. However, we ordered 3 pizzas from them on the 12/4/23 and I have never been more shocked than I was when I opened the boxes. They were like cardboard. Completely dry, flat, weightless (I could pick the whole pizza up with two fingers and it was like a piece of burnt Lebanese flat bread). It was all cracked due to how overcooked it was and I believe this is the reason none of the pizzas were cut - because if they were the whole thing would have fallen apart and looked like a cracked mess because of how dry it was. The toppings were different (our garlic and cheese was onion and cheese and instead of roasted capsicums on one of the pizzas it was dried cranberries - absolutely bizarre). I was so disgusted by what we received that after Uber eats dropped it off I drove to the restaurant to take it back. It was inedible and completely unacceptable. The staff on that night where a handful of young girls, the one at the counter who dealt with me was very apologetic and told me that it was a new chef on that night and it was her first day - which I’m sorry to say is still not a reasonable excuse - my 3 year old could have produced a better pizza. A Woolworths frozen pizza would have been luxury compared to this. As we ordered through Uber eats the restaurant could not offer me a refund and as of yet - a day later - I’m still yet to hear back from Uber and get my money back, which is absolutely frustrating. I thought about whether or not I should post this review but I absolutely think people should know what they are getting themselves into when the order from XS now. They have lost us as loyal customers due to this. I really hope it’s a learning lesson to the owners to do better and at the very least test someone’s ability to cook before hiring them as a chef!"

"While the food is quite nice, every single time we come here one person on the table is served their food and they completely finish eating before anyone else gets food. The worst experience we had involved the last person's food was served an hour after the first person despite complaints. I think we'll give up here as this seems to be a consistent flaw"
