"I never liked pie before but Frieda’s Sunday lunch home made pastries is changes my life. lunch pastries will weekly changes but definitely try pie and strawberries & mascarpone meringue roulade..! I am addicted for it! For dinner I am so obsessed for king prawn dish… also buffalo mozzarella dish too.. Sweet father might service you and he’s daughter cooks always makes trusted tastes from her love. I alway loves restaurants where family there for cook. Much love and respect to this restaurant!"

"Our favourite place to dine in Melbourne! Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and the friendliest staff. Everything Ruby cooks is delicious and so beautifully presented. Too many favourites on the menu and for dessert you can’t go past the tiramisu . We recently went on a Sunday for lunch too and had the best Sunday roast 10/10 (being from Ireland that’s a pretty big statement) Highly recommend Freda’s ❤️"

"If you’re in need of a beautiful piece of cake , great coffee and good banter then don’t go past Freda’s. The pineapple upside down cake was fantastic, as was the carrot cake. All are baked fresh in the premises. They serve a fantastic long black and the Earl Grey Tea was perfect. Will be heading back for dinner. Nothing fancy just a very well run business with excellent food and service, well worth a visit."
