"Very disappointed. I scheduled my car to be serviced on Monday 6th March. I was told to drop it off at 7:30am, which was fine by me as I start work at 8:30am around the corner so I could walk to work. I got there at 7:25am and I was waiting til 8:05am and no one showed up! I ended up leaving as I was going to be late to work. It’s now Wednesday 8th March and I haven’t heard anything from them. Very unprofessional."

"Been here twice now, both times for electrical work for aftermarket accessories/mods (blinker kit and new headlight install) for my Honda Integra James and his wee apprentice were super welcoming and took the time to chat and get to know me and my car. They were always able to fit me in when others couldn't which I appreciate as I was very impatient to get the cool things into my car. Worked fast, prices were great and just a genuine feeling little place Big reccomend, I know there ain't many reviews on this place but it's worth it ❤️"

"I wouldn’t recommend bayswater auto care to anyone. James and his team have both worked on my partners and my own cars and it had resulted in us occurring additional expenses that shouldn’t have occurred due to below average workmanship. We both drive off with wheels that were loose and needed to be tightened (Nuts were finger tight and not do up correctly) we even called James out to tighten them up on Canterbury road as I noticed it wasn’t right after having routine break maintenance done, 6 weeks later my car was left undrivable and had to be towed to another mechanic to have additional works as the bolts that hold the break caliper had fallen out and also badly damaged my break lines while I was driving the car, I am a P plater female and my car was left completely unsafe to drive after I paid for “routine maintenance” and I ended up loosing out on work as a result of having to have my car towed as well as the new mechanic bill I had to pay. Would not recommend."

"James is probably the friendliest and most honest car mechanic I have met. I called to explain that I had problems with my trailer connection and I needed it fixed immediately so that I can tow my trailer. James serviced it within minutes, told me the problem, fixed it and send me along in no time. I always had the fear of going to the car workshop because I don't know much about cars. James' professionalism and friendly demeanour changed my impression. I will definitely go back if I have any issues with my ute. Excellent service and thank you."
