"Personally, I would go anywhere else but unfortunately insurance kept sending me back which I've already flagged with them internally. Had to go through repairhub twice, one occasion in 2022 to repair my front bumper which took 4, maybe even 5 visits to correct (I honestly lost count because I was there every few days). And the other last month to fix very minimal damage on my rear bar which took 3 tries to correct. First red flag when the car was taken in for assessment was one of the guys asking "so where's the damage?", insurance sent over all the details, so unsure if that was supposed to be a joke or? And any time I raised a concern after a repair or adjustment, all I got told by the manager was "it's impossible to ever get it 100%"... does not seem like the motto of a manager but to each their own. If it was a tradesmen then I got "it's a mass production car, the lines and gaps never line up" which seems pretty silly because unless you're buying a Lamborghini or Ferrari or something in that price range- most cars are mass produced?? "Well you have a lifetime warranty so if you have any issues just come back", seemed to be another response to any concerns I mentioned. My partner has been panel beating for 11 years and gets it right the first time nine times out of ten, that one outlier is something he spends more time on to ensure quality, as you think it would be considering for most people purchasing a car is a full year's salary. Unfortunately to every concern there is always some kind of ridiculous excuse."

"If there is 0-star option, I'd like to give them no star at all. It's a very greedy center. Only thing they care about is money. I went there on 6th of June to do the assessment for my car. I told the reception lady that I don't need to repair the car because I need to wait the result of accident report. It's a very small crack and it does not worth $850 excess fee to fix it through the insurance policy. One guy checked my car and I told him again that I only need an assessment report. He told me that I can go now, he will report it to RACV. Three weeks later, I received a message from RACV. They said I absented the appointment because they couldn't find the file under my Rego. I asked them if they have a CCTV record, I knew the exact time that I arrived. The lady told me they can't find. I have to take one day off to go there again today (4th of July). I did a tricky to pretend that I am filming. The reception lady straightaway feels offended. Therefore, every body in the center can prove that I am there on time. And it's the same guy check my car again. I told him again that I don't need to repair. Guess what? This time, he told me that he is a repairer, not the staff of RACV. If I only need assessment, I have to talk with another person. It's not his duty. But it was him last time who told me "You can go now. I will report to RACV". They tried to mislead people that if you go to do the assessment, you have to repair at the same time. If you don't, no profile will be created. It's my first time to visit the center, how can I know the procedure? Funny thing is, because they think I was filming. They quickly find out the CCTV footage which the lady told me they couldn't. But unfortunately, there is neither a film with the lady in my phone, nor a deleted film because it's only a tricky. Maybe it's not the RACV insurance company's fault. But I will definitely count it when I make decision to renew the policy."
