"I hate downvoting local business. 2 stars because I remember the kid helps pack the bags, which is a nice old-fashioned touch. Other than that... I keep forgetting "local" and "family-owned" don't mean quality. Very little in terms of sensible products; half the shop devoted to candy and junk food. Lots of sparse shelves, the dairy fridges aren't very cold. Staff weren't "rude" but they were impersonal and distrusting, not what I want in my local grocer. There's nothing else around here in terms of groceries for people in apartments without cars, but I think I'll stick to shopping in the city during the workday. This place isn't exactly in a convenient spot, and from what I gathered there's no parking, so even though there are trolleys, I'm not sure what you're supposed to do with them."
"I love these guys. Owned and operated by an Asian family where nothing is too much problem for them. Great selection of UK foods too, which is a massive surprise! Convenient and standard independent shop prices, nothing too inflated. Recommend if you're local!"
"Probably the worst IGA I’ve ever been into. The shelves never have anything on them, the fridges are always empty with sub standard quality products available. Also very over priced. I walk away wishing someone else would open a supermarket next door! This IGA has so much potential if they started to take note of the growing area and its needs for good quality products. They are the only supermarket along that strip and if they cared and understood the monopoly they held, they’d kill it!!"
