Gun Emporium

"I have purchased things in the past and I am on their system but for some reason I went in to order a rifle which was $4500. I placed the order and put down $500. However that very same day I called another gun shop who assured me they order the exact same rifle for $4100. When I called im to cancel my order and get a refund they then claimed it was an error on their part and were willing to match the price. I chose to give my business to an honest gun shop so I went ahead and cancelled it asking fir a refund. SHOP AROUND PEOPLE!"

"By far the worst gun shop in Australia that I have ever dealt with. I visited a Melbourne outdoor expo amd selected a firearm which I decided to purchase. At the store one of the owners acknowledged my photos and said the firearm could be ordered. I paid a deposit and waited the 8 weeks as I was told at the time of order. Once back I was told the firearm wasn't even actually ordered! Terrible service and not even a phone call to tell me at any stage of any updates or delays. Stay well clear I'm not the only person they have done this too. !!!!!"

"Me and my dad went there to buy a L.A 22LR. We spoke to Tony. He was super friendly and helpful. showed us a couple options for what we wanted. We left with something that satisfied us. He was nice and patient which is something that seems to be hard to come by in most firearm stores these days. Beautiful shop as well. Thank you."

"By far the worst customer experience of any gun store I’ve been to in Melbourne. If you’re a beginner looking for some guidance go elsewhere. I was the only person in the store , asked for some recommendations on what rifle would be suitable, “heaps” was the response. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the guy to give me some info… nothing, never offered any information about a specific rifle didn’t even leave the far end of the counter to talk to me or show me a rifle. I can only imagine how difficult after sales assistance would be. EDIT 25/05/23 - Staff member was the big guy."

"Not really impressed to be honest. Spent a few k there a couple of months ago, most of the guys seem ok but one makes you feel like it's an effort for him to serve you. I won't mention names but because of that and the fact that he wasn't interested in looking after me even though 3+k was spent and he knew I was only getting started. Now I will do all my buying elsewhere, where I feel appreciated as a as a customer who spends good coin and brings plenty business to the store."
