"Disappointed with the new owners of the Flower Spot.... wanted to support local business so ordered flowers to be delivered on a Friday morning... no flowers were delivered at all. On phoning to chase up on Saturday, I was asked do you still want the flowers delivered? I said I did, after all the payment had been deducted from my Visa card.... the flowers were delivered to my friend and although their names were correct on the envelope, the card said to Helen and George, not Helen and Geoff! $80 !! And by Monday morning all the roses had dropped their heads. After supporting The Flower Spot for 30 years it is now time to find a new florist!"
"Very unhappy with the new management of this place. I visited the store earlier to check if they had any flowers available and called and emailed to place an order. Asked if I could collect the flowers between 7:30-8:00am the next day as I needed them before a deadline and they agreed. When I got to the store the next morning, my order was not ready and was told their flowers would arrive at 9:00am instead, but the flowers I had ordered may not be available, which they did not let me know about until I got there. They assured me that there were other alternatives that I could purchase so I left and came back at 10:30am but when I got there, they did not have the correct number of flowers I had ordered and the ones I were given were already wilting. I browsed the other flowers in the store but then was told I could not purchase any of them as they were already pre-booked. I left my number with them multiple times but they did not let me know when I placed the order that they would be unable to meet it. They made me wait for hours for an order that they did not have and told me there would be other options when they did not have other options- all without apologising. If they had called me at any point in time beforehand to let me know, I could have made alternative arrangements to meet my deadline. Very disappointed with this place."
