"Yes Pat Have use your business have the recite. $900 to you for the repair to my high pressure pump which started leaking 60 km after picking up my van. $300 to replace my vacuum line and fan belt which was 3 months old and broke 20 km after pick up. To be told that I must have broken the belt because you did not touch it , 1 inch away from the pump you did not tighten in to place well enough. Keep milking it bloke you have staff to pay. In fairness it was offered to look at it 8 days later but nar will not trust you again"

"I have always believed that a good local mechanic is better than a dealer. For four years I had my car serviced by the dealer, but a ridiculous quote from a "Service Consultant" showed he had no knowledge of mechanicals, and convinced me it was time to move (I fixed it myself for $19.95)! I found Startech via a Google search, liked the reviews and, as they are close to me, booked my C 180 Coupe in for a major service. Patrick has a deep knowledge from 29 years as a dealership workshop manager and it shows. I accepted his recommendations for additional items, which, he pointed out, were desirable, but not necessary, at this point in time. Again, a Google search showed that these items should be done at this time, The service was done at short notice and done very well at a reasonable cost. The car is running beautifully. In my opinion, Startech's service is better than the dealer's and I will be going there from now on."
