Welcome to St Kilda Playgroup, located at 99B Carlisle Street in St Kilda, Australia. We are a community-based, not-for-profit playgroup that has been bringing together local families since 2006. Our playgroup is run by a committee of dedicated volunteer parents who are passionate about creating a safe and engaging environment for children aged 0 to 5 years old.

At St Kilda Playgroup, we prioritize the safety of our members. Currently, there are some safety hazards in our outdoor area, so accessing it is not permitted until further notice. We kindly ask parents to supervise their children and ensure they stay inside at all times. If families are seen outside, we will be forced to close the indoor space as well until the necessary playground works are completed.

Our playgroup is open to families from St Kilda and nearby suburbs who are active SKPG members. Becoming a member is simple and can be done online in less than 5 minutes. Membership is compulsory to attend our sessions and costs $15 per year ($10 for healthcare cardholders). This membership fee includes insurance coverage, which must be renewed as soon as it expires to ensure continued protection.

When you join St Kilda Playgroup, you gain access to our wonderful facilities. We have two playgroup rooms equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable play experience during the summer. Both rooms have direct access to a shared kitchenette and a children's toilet/changing area. Our outdoor space is shaded and features a cubby, stage, huge sandpit, and a variety of outdoor toys. We also have two shade sails to protect children from the sun.

In addition to providing a safe and fun environment, St Kilda Playgroup offers language sessions for families who wish to immerse their children in their native language and culture. Currently, we have Russian, Japanese, and French playgroups available. These sessions are led by members of the local community who are passionate about sharing their language and heritage.

As a member of St Kilda Playgroup, you have the opportunity to connect with other families, share questions and ideas, and contribute as a volunteer to make our playgroup an even better place.
