Australia's harsh climate poses a significant risk of skin cancer, and we take this concern seriously. To ensure the well-being of our children, we actively implement sun protection measures during all outdoor activities throughout the year. These measures are followed in accordance with the local sun protection times, which are issued whenever UV levels reach 3 and above. From mid-August to the end of April in Victoria, we prioritize the safety of our children by using effective sun protection strategies.

As an institution, Belford Oaks CCC acknowledges and pays our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which we operate, learn, and grow. We recognize the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the traditional custodians of this land and honor their ongoing connection to country. We extend our respect to Elders past, present, and emerging, as they hold the wisdom and knowledge that enriches our community.
