"This is owned by a conglomerate organisation. This became evident when there was an incident with my son which took 4 months to investigate and was never fully resolved, partly because it was so slow, and partly because it was managed very poorly. It was if they didn't even care what had happened, even though it was clear one of their staff had lost their temper. Staffing is inconsistent which is what probably led to the incident in the first place. My son is much happier now we've moved to another centre. UPDATE: there was a second incident and this staff member has since been let go. Should have happened the first time but better late than never. The government investigation found that this centre was not compliant and they are now being monitored. ANOTHER UPDATE: A number of students have moved from this centre to my new centre and the staff say that all the kids they get from the learning sanctuary centre push, punch and hit other kids. It takes months for the staff to help these babies and children learn to act with proper kindness and patience again. This is a reflection of the lack of care given to the interaction of the children at this centre."
"Although my child attended The Learning Sanctuary only for a short time, our experience has been great. They allowed ample time to for the orientation, not based on a schedule, but on my child's needs. The room leader was communicative, made a true effort to get to know my child and I could tell that she really cared. The centre has their own chef who cooks nutritious meals for the kids and dietary requirements can easily be met. The room was bright, toys are diverse and plentiful and they have a large outdoor area. Would definitely recommend!"
"The Learning Sanctuary Brighton is such a wonderful childcare for our children 3 years and 1 year of age. We absolutely love it. The educators are so attentive (with their constant updates of our children's daily needs met through the app) and they're very caring. They include daily photos of my children too. Which puts my mind at ease to see that they're well cared for and taught a variety of different things. I love how the children can join in with the cooking with chef Mario on different occasions. There are steps leading up to the counter top which is fantastic and very inclusive which encourages a love for cooking. I love the Learning Sanctuary Brighton. It's the best place to send my children!"
"Such a wonderful clean and bright facility. Lots of positive changes from when we were there a couple of years ago, e.g. the carer ration appears to have increased. Love the current centre manager - Kayla. We are in the Kindergarten room and Rosemary, Mikayla and others have been so attentive and caring to our little one who has difficulty settling in every day!! Lots of individual attention. Thank you so much."
"We love The Learning Sanctuary family. Our son has attended the Ashwood centre and now that we have moved we relocated him to Brighton. The educators and staff are amazing and so loving with our son. We could not have asked for an easier, smoother transition and the level of care he gets is exceptional.
