"Had to claim 3 times over the last few years due to lost packages and was a bad experience all 3 times lost money and time through a dragged out process they try to not pay using their fine print as they keep asking for more proof as an invoice is not good enough for them and then IF they decide to pay you its only 1/3 of what you lost. Stay away from any carrier which uses these guys. Have claimed with other carriers direct with no drama and got paid in full. Never using any courier who is dealing with FreighSafe. THE ONLY THING THEY ARE KEEPING SAFE IS THEIR PROFITS!"

"Beware people - look at the reviews, I am not the only one. One star is one too many. I ask the question are they a scam? It seems to me like it. They take your money, you make one claim that is an obvious one that there is clear photographic evidence that a unit was damaged in transit yet they advise they deny the claim on a technicality and assumption. Funny how they sent a letter to deny the claim 2 hours after asking for additional information, and less than two hours after I emailed them to complain about their ridiculous process - not even enough time to respond to respond to their request for additional information. They are not an insurance company but seem to portray themselves as one, so you have little hope of challenging. Having said that I am seeking advice just on principal. Look at the photos - the goods were damaged!!!!! Update on Freightsafe's claim or what I call a lie, that we made it clear we made it clear we did not want to provide the requested information - our email to them - "We can provide a unit cost statement, to provide a listing of cost for every nut and bolt is time consuming and ridiculous. We will also provide a quote to repair where our technician will have to fly to Perth from Brisbane, effect repairs, Hotel costs as well as the cost to import the replacement panel – all of which outweighs the cost of the unit. For coverage of only $1,000 this exercise has proven to us that the service is far too time consuming and a waste of money. After reading many of the Google reviews I can see so many others have the same experience as I am having.""
"Sharing a similar sentiment to other unhappy customers. This company (like many others in insurance) try to drag out the process; continually needing extra info that is not easily accessed. It's a very tirung process and makes one feel scammed. Glad some folks have received money back through this company, and also feel the frustrations of those who have wasted time and energy. No doubt there will be a sympathetic reply to this negative feedback from the company to save face. It will be forced and inaccurate."
