Reviews of Edenbrook Wetlands and Playground
"More seating around the water would be good, however it was still pleasant enough for a short walk. Lots of ducks and purple swamp hens to see."
"Nice spot, bit run down now, but has great facilities. Can flood pretty bad during heavy rains. Would really benefit a public toilet as there isn’t really one in the area, especially given that this is on the Tomic valley creek. The local swan population is a huge attractant for locals, and you’ll see people flock to the lake on Henry Rd side when there are babies."
"Watching the bird cycle of life is a joy. This year 5 cygnets seem to have made it . Now the baby water hens. Park is well kept except for the dilapidated viewing platform. Peaceful place."
"Hidden gem of a playground, is a bit neglected but good for those who need both fenced and play equipment for older in same area/eye sight. No toilets though."
"Edenbrook Wetlands is a project that has really works. There are wild ducks. Koots and over the last 10 weeks we have been watching a black swan sitting on a clutch of eggs. About 2 weeks ago 5 baby signets were hatched and now swimming around with there proud parents. We stopped and feed the hatchlings with the proud parents watching over them. Nature at it best. It would be great if our do nothing council would supply a bin as some people leave their rubbish behind."
