Reviews of Chandler Park
"It's a good playground. Having the basket ball court and soccer net is great. No public toilets"
"This park is a wonderful place for families to spend time together, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and picnics. A great park should have something for everyone, including a big open space for kids to run and play, ride bikes, skateboards, or rollerblade. The addition of a basketball ring and a small soccer goal adds to the fun, allowing children to practice their sports skills. However, the amenities in the park are just as important as the activities. The availability of BBQ facilities, tables, and seating makes it easy for families to have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Nevertheless, one downside to the park is the lack of accessible toilets near the club area. It's not uncommon for kids to need a bathroom break at the most inconvenient times, which can be difficult for parents. Unfortunately, the toilets near the club area are often closed, which can be frustrating for families. Although it's understandable that the club wouldn't want to be responsible for maintaining them, leaving them open during peak usage times could be a great improvement."
"It's a beautiful park with a wide oval, basketball/netball courts, and a playground nearby. Lots of people visit around the golden hour, and the atmosphere is especially nice around that time!"
"Chandler park is walking distance from the Boronia railway station and located just off Chandler Road. It’s pretty good for a walk, run or walking your dog. It’s got a decent play area for children, undercover BBQ and a basketball facility as well. There is a walking track around the park for walking and running. Home to cricket in summer and footy in winter."
