In line with our commitment to sustainability, we are excited to announce the launch of our new weekly food and garden bin service. We are thrilled to share that since its introduction, Knox residents have successfully halved the amount of rubbish going to landfill. In fact, an astonishing 1900 tonnes of food scraps and other organics have been diverted to be transformed into nutrient-rich compost. By participating in this initiative, our community is actively contributing to a greener and cleaner environment.

This family of seven has taken small but impactful steps to reduce waste, aligning with Council's implementation of the weekly food and garden service. By composting their food and garden waste, they are actively contributing to the creation of nutrient-rich compost that benefits our local environment.
