"Highly, highly recommend! Yes the food is delicious. But the service is out of this world! We were talked through and allowed to taste different variants of sake, and explained the process of how they were made. Plus a very special team drink at the end for my partners birthday. A must visit here for the best tuna sashimi in Melbourne."

The food and the service display the passion of a team enthused to make their restaurant loved. Make sure to take recommendations on the sake and learn something about it from the knowledgeable staff."

"Dinner date with my partner here. We went all out on the skewers as shown in the photos. (>20 skewers) Food was amazing, we sat at the bar. Lots more to try but we just wanted more skewers! They had plenty of sake to try too. Will defo be back."

"Whilst the food was decent, I felt like the dining experience wasn't what I expected. There was no real feel of warmth within the dining room despite the Japanese coals and grill. The staff were very knowledgeable about the sake served and were great story tellers. There was clearly a passion for their product. I felt there wasn't the same love for their food and they tried to just have the produce sell itself. I was sad to see that the set menu only included three skewers, considering that this was a robata grill, So we chose to go a la carte, choosing basically all of the skewer options, we also had one of each main, the special nigiri ($20 was a bit expensive for one nigiri), sashimi platter, broccolini and cherry tomato salad as well as the miso soup Although this isn't a place I would write off, it definitely did leave me wanting."

"We ordered a set menu and sushi everything, the portion size was just right for us and the food was very fresh overall. The service was overall very friendly and cordial. The food ended with a very generous portion of dessert just right for two people. It was a winter night when we arrived, so we finished our experience with a pot of warm tea. I think we will be back again, as the style and decor of this restaurant is also very casual and nice, which is more than suitable for sitting down with a group of friends for a drink and a chat."
