Welcome to Tatterson Park, a stunning 48-hectare park nestled in the heart of Keysborough, Australia. Located on Chapel Road, Tatterson Park is not just an ordinary park; it is a renowned establishment, a point of interest, and a must-visit tourist attraction.
One of the highlights of Tatterson Park is its expansive 20-hectare woodland, which forms the centerpiece of this picturesque park. As you explore the park, you will also discover three well-maintained sportsgrounds, perfect for sports enthusiasts of all ages. Whether you're looking to play a game of cricket, soccer, or any other sport, Tatterson Park has got you covered.
For families and children, Tatterson Park offers a regional playground that is truly one-of-a-kind. Known as the "World of Insects," this playground features giant ladybugs, ants, beehives, and even a giant magnifying glass. The design of this playground was carefully chosen by the community, for the community, and it has a strong environmental focus that complements the natural beauty of Tatterson Park.
In 2006, the Tatterson Park Master Plan was completed, outlining the vision for this remarkable park. The goal is for Tatterson Park to be a regional, multi-purpose park that caters to a wide range of recreational activities. It aims to meet the needs of the diverse community within the City of Greater Dandenong and be recognized as one of the best parks in Melbourne to visit.
The master plan includes key components such as the three multi-purpose sports ovals, Springers Leisure Centre, a conservation area with stunning redgum woodland and grassland, pedestrian paths, a district playground, and an impressive network of wetlands and walking tracks.
At Tatterson Park, we are committed to keeping you informed about all the exciting happenings in Greater Dandenong. We proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Bunurong People, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We recognize and respect their ongoing connections to climate, culture, country, and waters.
So, whether you're a local resident or a visitor to Australia, come and experience the beauty and versatility of Tatterson Park. Explore the woodland, enjoy a game of sport, marvel at the World of Insects playground, or simply take a leisurely stroll along the wetlands and walking tracks. Tatterson Park is a place where nature meets recreation, and memories are made.

"Really nice park with some sweet BBQ facilities. Decent space and well placed play areas and benches. Wish some people would clean up after themselves. Toilets are a bit questionable, don't think these are maintained well at all."
"Amazing park to visit with family and friends with kids. So many options to occupy kids in activities and they will not like to go bavk home for sure. There are all necessary facilities like barbeques, rubbish bins, toilets etc. available on the spot."
"Beautiful spacious park, equipped with a fully fenced dog park, children's playground and several walking routes. There's also sports facilities at one side. Dogs are allowed in the park on leash, and there's fenced off-leash parks for different size dogs. The playground is great and has lots to explore for all ages. There were plentiful of parking spaces too at different locations around the park."
"Tatterson Park is definitely a great Park to bring the family the site itself is very spacious with plenty of everything for everyone, BBQs, Tables with Shade, Huge Playground with plenty of variety such as slides, flying foxes, sand pits and plenty of other things to climb and keep the children busy. Even has a decent basketball court which can double as a futsal field as well, otherwise plenty of oval space around to kick a footy, soccer ball or play a little cricket. Plenty of well marked parking nearby and automated toilet facilities as well, you really can't ask for more. the final piece is for those who want to go for a run or walk is plenty of parkland and a huge trail surrounding the pond."
"Beautiful, spacious park with a number of facilities such as sporting grounds, a playground, a nature walk and an exercise circuit. Plenty of parking and well-maintained. There is also a fenced off-leash area for dogs and one specifically for small dogs as well, which was a nice little detail. Great park!"
