In addition to our focus on environmental preservation, we are proud to announce the success of the new weekly food and garden bin service implemented by Knox City Council. Since its inception, Knox residents have managed to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill by half and divert an impressive 1900 tonnes of food scraps and other organics to be transformed into compost. We are thrilled to be part of this sustainable initiative and encourage our visitors to join us in making a positive impact on the environment.

As a community-oriented establishment, we are delighted to host the Women on the Go annual business networking event on 14 September. This event provides a valuable platform for professionals to connect, collaborate, and empower each other. Tickets for this exciting occasion are available for purchase, and we encourage all business-minded individuals to take advantage of this opportunity.

Furthermore, we are proud to support a Ferntree Gully family of seven who are actively making small changes to reduce waste. With the implementation of the weekly food and garden service, this family is contributing to the composting efforts and helping create a more sustainable future for our community.

Lastly, we would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the traditional custodians of the City of Knox, the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. We recognize and honor their deep connection to the land on which Rowville Lakes Playground is situated.
