"Don’t normally give bad review but this morning I was abused buy a customer telling me to hurry up and pay while I was packing my own bags while the employee was chatting to the customer and not bothering to help me so I could have paid faster. Some of the staff are very rude do not bother to help you at all. There were plenty of other counters and staff where this bully of a customer could have gone to pay and the Employee could have told him that. Woolworths Balmain is getting worse by the minute. Customers should come first."

"This Woolies has been slowly deteriorating for a while, but has really gone down hill over the last couple of years. Now it’s more of a second rate Metro style Woolies now. Shelves are regularly missing key items and produce. Food is rarely fresh. Whoever is managing this place is doing a pretty dud job of it… Go elsewhere if you can."

"Used to be ok, given its small size, when I moved to Balmain 2 years ago. Then they started to not care if large numbers of stock were empty. Then they started replacing normal frozen foods for fake meat garbage. I work near Five Dock, so the Coles there is my supermarket now. Shelves always full."
