Reviews of Prahran Square
"Great square which is worth a visit if you get a chance. A nice change from the rushed city life in the surrounding area. Upkeep is spot on, nice and clean with the planted area looking healthy and strong. The square was really busy with all areas being used by people socializing, reading and generally relaxing."
"A very enjoyable evening well done to all the performers and to the city of Stonington to provide their residence such a lovely and peaceful area"
"A friend called this place heaven and suggested it may well be where he first came upon the face of God. I knew he had experienced things. I also knew that neither my face nor my countenance had engaged the idea of God for him. I knew that before he finished with his greeting. So he goes and he sits. And if I remove the idea of God (he of the father and son, they of the trinity) a crowing deceit of an apparently blameless, all knowing being, with limitless powers. (creator of everything, except transparency and accountability) then I can see where he is coming from. It is what it is for him. Heaven does not require the creator to be in residence. For my friend it is a quiet place without people where he can experience respite from ignorance and lies, with nature in relative abundance providing shade and privacy. It is a space where quiet reflection is possible. Forgive my wandering path: Prahran square.... really is quite pleasant. Heaven is an idea, that we all seek in different ways. That it has an incarnation in Prahran, is surprising, but I don't think there is much that is beyond the realm of probability (or probability's rim, as my friend called it. Who crafts probability's rim I asked? A question for another day."
"Abit skeptical of the landscape design of this place initially, but it actually really highlight the character of the suburb. Not only the landscape provides an open space but also meets the car parking space requirements of this suburb. Definitely check out this place when you are around the burb!"
"A beautiful public area that is divided into five distinct areas the Sensory gardens the terrace the southside lawn and the forest. Underneath is two levels of carpark which are free parking for the first 90 minutes and at the Lift you will find a public toilet and access to this wonderful open space. In addition you’ll find Woolworths and Coles with water fountains. Shade umbrellas and fixed table & chairs. There is a small playground and lots of areas for the kids to rome around and enjoy. Plenty of elevated areas with wheelchair access for mobility impaired to enjoy. Overall an impressively well designed and functional area which is beautiful and appealing in its imaginative presentation. Great to explore or just to relax."
