About Caulfield Park
Welcome to Caulfield Park, the largest and most popular park in Glen Eira, Australia. Located at the corner of Hawthorn and Balaclava Roads in Caulfield North, this park is a must-visit tourist attraction and a point of interest for locals and visitors alike.
Caulfield Park's design beautifully reflects its rich history, and its diverse array of facilities make it a major hub for various activities within the Glen Eira community. As you enter the park, you'll be greeted by a series of bronze statues titled The Paper Boy, Mother and Child, and Climbing Boys, completed by sculptor Phillip J Cannizzo in 1980. Legend has it that one of the statues pays tribute to a paper boy who tragically lost his life on this very corner.
One of the highlights of Caulfield Park is the abundance of play facilities it offers. With three separate playground areas, there's something for everyone. The Park Crescent playground, located at the eastern end of the park, boasts a wide range of play opportunities, including a modified basketball court and a modified football oval with goal posts. Nearby, you'll find public toilets for your convenience.
The Aviary Gardens playground, situated along the Inkerman Road boundary, features lower level and interactive equipment. This playground is surrounded by a native garden, providing a perfect spot for bird watching as local birds feed from the bird bath. Public toilets are also available nearby.
For a truly sensory experience, head to the playground located between the lake and the bowls club. This unique playground includes an ABC sensory maze and offers endless opportunities for imaginative play. Don't forget to download the Maze Map for a fun challenge!
Caulfield Park is not only a haven for play and relaxation but also a fantastic place for picnics and social gatherings. With numerous picnic shelters and BBQ facilities scattered throughout the park, you can enjoy a delicious meal while surrounded by the park's natural beauty. If you're planning a special event, several picnic shelters, the bridges near the lake, and the bandstand can be booked for weddings and other formal celebrations.
Sports enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover the extensive sports grounds at Caulfield Park. From cricket and soccer to lacrosse and personal training sessions, there's plenty of space for various activities. The park also hosts several sports clubs, including Maccabi FC, Caulfield Lacrosse Club, Caulfield Park Social Soccer, Caulfield Cricket Club, and Maccabi Ajax Junior Cricket Club.
If you're in need of a venue for a community gathering or a meeting, the community room and meeting room at Caulfield Park Pavilion are available for hire.
We look forward to welcoming you to Caulfield Park, where history, nature, and recreation come together to create an unforgettable experience.

"Love this park, especially walking around it at sunset. Best thing is the chess tables by the pond. I use to like the geese as well but they have gone to a better place now. Still cool but doesn't have the English park like look anymore."

Good play area for kids but also fantastically they also have a sensory play area for kids who prefer that environment. Nice place for a meander or a picnic. Just sweet. Go for a stroll."
